Well I have totally finished at Abbywinters.com. It feels pretty weird to have been working at such a pace for so long and then to all of a sudden wind down to what is more or less a total halt. So far I have been working on the Meredith photos and made a half hearted attempt to clean my room.
3 years is the longest I have ever stayed working somewhere, so I'm looking forward to the change. I wont miss the pace, but I'll really miss the staff, the budget and of course the beautiful models.
This picture is one of my favourite backstage shots, for a few reasons. It was taken by my fellow AW photographer who was killed in a car accident last year. We had such a great day, Darya (model) was amazing, it was winter, in public and she was hilarious and fearless. The three of us spent the whole day in stitches, and the shoot turned out great. It stands out as one of my most memorable shoot days ever.
I think I'm gonna take the next couple of weeks off to see my neglected friends and get drunk, then start focussing on all the things I haven't had time to work on. Including giving my new flash gear a work out. woo.

Rained out, covered in mud and freezing, and from the looks on everyones faces, having an amazing time.

It was my second last day today, and I spent it at the beach with three models doing a girl girl shoot in a winnebago. It was a fun day, pretty typical of my nearly 3 years spent at AW.
I don't have any pictures from the beach shoot yet toady, but I do have this rather interesting picture from a shoot I shot early in the week... Luanna mid hair swing.

Today I was lucky enough to shoot the stunning Christen, who I really think is one of the hottest girls I have ever shot. Looking through her set was a difficult experience, what picture to put up? how do I select the bests? what shots do I remove? ...oh boy.
The lighting was a little different to usual, I even made a makeshift soft box out of a box, but the whole thing pulled together really nicely.
This is my last week at AW, and the lovely and ever patient "powers that be & book the shoots" have been kind to me it seems.

Lovely Sexpo... I went there to shoot some lights and to support the
EROS foundation in Launching the
Australian Sex Party. They have some really important issues on their agenda, such as legalizing abortion across australia, and internet censorship.
Internet censorship is something i'm particularly against and concerned about, its the kind of thing which could kill the porn/erotica industry in Australia.

All good things must come to an end, and its with both sadness and excitement that I write about my resignation from Abbywinters.com.
I'm going to miss all the staff that have become like family, and the beautiful models who have provided so much inspiration. I have learnt so much from the place and I feel like now its time for me to stand on my own two feet.
This blog will deviate slightly, and many of you may be disappointed to hear that there will be substantially less boobs. I'm not disappointed, it'll be nice to shoot some clothed people for a while. Particularly musos and muses.
I'm still at AW for a couple of weeks, so the party ain't over yet.

It's been a really exciting week, Barack Obama has won the US presidency, Golden Plain's festival has been announced (and Of Montreal is on the bill, woo!) And my best friend
Charlotte is coming to visit tomorrow (BFF4EVS).
This week I also shot Jana, after some initial struggles with the lighting we ended up shooting this moody little set.
Jana had a really interesting look to her, she was coltishly beautiful with long slim legs and limbs, but she also had this elegantly unaware way she held her body, she was great to shoot, and after we got over some initial nerves I got an excellent set and this curious shot...
Am close to posting the Muscles shots I took with him last weekend, they take a little more work than the AW ones, (which go up un-photoshopped) but they wont be too much longer.
I'm looking forward to posting them. Maybe some of my more frequent viewers who are too embarrassed to comment on the nudie stuff but comment on the music stuff might actually comment ; )

I have had a pretty busy week, a bunch of solo shoots and this weekend I'm doing some press shots for Muscles. Which will be pretty fun and a nice change from the regular tits and ass.
I haven't copied much of my stuff to bring home to post except this shot of Melissa R. She was great, very quiet but once you turned the camera on her she became someone else.
I'm quite pleased most people prefer opening up to the camera and not me. I don't think I could handle my job if everyone's sexual energy was directed at me.
