Daffodils and I go way back, way back to the daffodil scene from the Willy Wonka film where Mr Wonka eats the daffodil and it makes that crunching sound. As a child I ate a daffodil, hoping to hear that delicate candy crunch sound. All I got was a mouth full of flower.
When I heard we had a location with a field of daffodils and I saw Christen's beautiful face I knew exactly how I wanted to shoot this. A little behind the scenes info... The fairytale-like field is actually covered in horse poo and the daffodils are buzzing with wasps. Christen was such a good sport, she didn't complain once. I'm really happy with the result.

I'm back from the dead (otherwise known as New York City) and posting for you lot has started again! Here is a shoot of Keilyn I did just before I went away... She is such an awesome model to shoot.
New York was amazing, I really don't know where to start explaining it, so i wont. Go rent a movie.
I shot a lot with my Lomo and I haven't actually got the pictures processed yet, but when I do i'll post them. I'm looking forward to seeing how they came out. I took a bunch of rooftop ones that I'm especially keen to see how they worked.
I met up with a friend over there and we climbed up onto a rooftop, she had her big canon with her and we shot some portraits of each other. For a photographer, its nice traveling with another photographer, it means you get some great shots of yourself, when usually your the one taking the great shots. Here is one snapped with my iphone...
